Put it to work

How to use this template.

Put upcoming bills in one place and distinguish a scheduled bill from an amount that has actually been paid.

  1. Set your review date. Overdue means a due date before this date with money still outstanding.
  2. Enter each bill amount and the amount already paid. Use 0 if nothing has been paid.
  3. Update paid amounts after checking your account; a payment reminder alone does not count as payment.

A few useful answers.

Can I record a partial payment?

Yes. Enter the amount paid so far. The tracker shows the remaining amount and a partial status.

What if a bill amount is not known?

Leave it blank until you know the amount. The tracker flags an incomplete bill rather than treating it as a zero-dollar bill.
