How to use this template.

List the next occurrence of each annual cost and make its funding gap visible. This plan focuses on the next bill rather than spreading every bill over an assumed full year.

  1. Enter each annual bill’s next due date and expected amount.
  2. Subtract only savings already dedicated to that bill.
  3. Count the monthly contributions available before payment and review the combined monthly set-aside.

A few useful answers.

Should I always enter 12 contributions?

No. Enter how many contributions you can actually make before the next payment. A bill due sooner may require a larger amount per contribution.

Can I include an estimated bill?

Yes, if you clearly label it as an estimate in the expense name and update it when the amount is known.
